Slept better, struggled writing-wise until after the season finale of CSI New York (damn...), when I found live coverage of Bruce Springsteen on The Beeb - and things started to come together on Chapter 14 of TDD-603. There's still some way to go, but this progress makes me feel confident that I can complete this story this weekend.

Shame about all those bloody flags...

P.S. Heatwave? What steenkeeng heatwave???

In Today's Episode... Mane-of-Night and her new friend get ready for their mission, only to find they need to be ready a whole lot sooner than expected.

And so, the battle for Yafornis commences...

30-06-2009 Update with correct link!

Release notes... Ooops, missed my posting slot. Blame Bruce Springsteen.

Development News... Okay, I haven't exactly made the progress with TDD-603 that I had expected (lazy sod). Almost every time I sit down to start work, there's some interruption or other, which is a serious pain, and often entirely beyond my control. I'm getting the feeling that if I happen to go through that "wake up at seven or eight in the morning" thing again, I should take that as a sign, and just get up and get right to work - it'll probably be the only time I completely get to myself *sigh* Wishing I had a laptop that bloody well worked, or even a netbook...

Meanwhile... There's more talk of a UK-wide "heatwave", but yet again, the weather, actual and predicted, is worst right here, and the usual fog that rolled in tonight is a sure sign things will suck once again. I will believe the heatwave when I experience it.

And finally... What? Swine flu at Glastonbury? That doesn't exactly fill me with enthusiasm for the impending "Gathering". Any of that shit breaks out here, those happy-clappys will never set foot in this neighbourhood again...
