Development news... Last night was probably the kick in the pants I needed. I was so annoyed with myself for getting next to nothing done on TDD-603 Part 4, but today, things couldn't be more different. Chapter 5 is underway, and if I match Thursday's output, I'll be finished mid-weekend.

Meanwhile... There it is; the "Elvis Is Dead" for a new generation. Michael Jackson is dead. So far, the interweb hasn't fried its drives, as I'd imagined it would, but this IS absolutely the biggest news event since 9/11, and the biggest event of the Web 2.0 age. I don't doubt for a second that this will run and run for a good while yet.

I'm not a fan, but I respect his imagination and creativity, and all the good he did for black music. LIke him or not, the world will be a slightly less wonderful place without him.

Sadly, the Iranian "Supreme Leader" will be delighted with this, as it draws all the attention away from them...
