A quiet day. Just the way I wanted it. Pity tomorrow may be snowed under, which takes a bit of the shine off today...

Just took a look at how the Championship Games were going, and it looked like I hexed the Cardinals. Sorry... I'll wait for the Channel 5 coverage to find out how the rest of it goes.

Gonna try and make the most of what's left of the weekend, now - hmmm, think I'm still short a "Best of 2008" list, but that's not an urgent priority. I'll get MoN-201 "Mane-of-Night And The Dark Child's Descent" into order for a Monday-Tuesday "son-of-push".

Oh, and the lie-in wasn't exactly obscene. Slept through quite a bit of it. Not a complete loss, I suppose.

One More Day To Go... and if it goes like this one, I may just be delighted. Seven and two-thirds pages of "hot notes" take MoN-201 "Mane-of-Night And The Dark Child's Descent" close to the end of Chapter 11, and very near to completion. I'll be doing type-up shortly, and I expect to have Chapter 11 done, and a framework for Chapter 12 by "close of Slot" tomorrow.

And then... I already have Slot End pressies in mind - plus a new craft project has come to mind. Now, those haven't always reached completion in the past, but this one should be achievable, with the necessary input of time and effort, and so long as the rest of the universe will back off and let me get on with it.

I have it in mind, this year, to try and do things I haven't done before, and this could be one of them.

Meanwhile... Okay, we're not exactly going to get the Super Bowl I'd expected, but Pittsburgh - Arizona has plenty of promise. Cardinals by 3.

And finally... Oh look, here comes Gordistair again, this time "bailing out" their "bail-out". What a freakin' joke this New Labour Government is - it would be funny if we weren't paying for it. One of the biggest banks in the country is now worth 11p a share - and the New Labour Government "part-nationalised" them a couple of months ago... and they're losing money on the deal.

Of course, if there was a "one or the other" choice for who to lynch just now, Gordistair would get a reprieve, their places taken by every sorry fucker who codes viruses just to make computer users suffer. This, boys and girls, is absolutely NOTHING to do with embarrassing Microsoft, hitting Bill Gates's vast profits, or showing "how much better Macs are" - it's closer to bullying. "Hur hur hur, I'm smarter than you..." Tossers.

Okay, signing off now. A-typing we will go...
