Oh, and Bo Diddley. There's another one - damn it...
Anyway...
The news about SIR Terry Pratchett gives me something else to strive for next year. I actually haven't read any of his stuff! Sounds crazy, but there it is; the unvarnished and awful truth.
LiveJournal has a community going with the theme of "101 Things To Do In 1001 Days", but I don't honestly think I can come up with 101 achievable things in total. Right now, I really can't think of anything beyond...
- More exercise
- Getting back to drawing
- New! Read Pratchett!
- See Kiss, should they tour this year - no matter what it takes!
- Write something for The "2007" Project, which sadly fell through on the year in question...
- Be as at peace with myself this time next year as I am right now, as opposed to the agony of "The Year Of Pain"
As far as 2008 goes, I envision the following: 1) a quick tie-up of all necessary online business, 2) The Dark Knight, 3) Jools Holland, 4) The Bells... then eventually bed. TDK is two and a half hours, so I have about an hour for 1). Better get on with it then.
This is 2008, signing off. Happy New Year, everyone!
