Development News... This just in - ground has been broken on The Darkhawk Diaries: Season 6!
A headline story drowned in d-Ross... How could it possibly be that the departure of David Tennant from Doctor Who (at the end of 2009) not be a major headline? easy - the angry mob are still out for blood over That Radio Show. How dare those Africans try to cover up for these two evil criminals by blowing up their own people! How dare the economy try to draw the attention of our leaders away from the most critical issue of the modern age - how to punish these wicked, horrible TV presenters...?
They apologised. Brand quit. Ross is suspended without pay for 12 weeks. Andrew Sachs accepted the apologies. The granddaughter has said the matter is closed as far as she's concerned - how dare she let these bastards off the hook? Doesn't she know it's her civic duty to remain outraged until the heads of these two monsters are displayed for all to see on the gates of Buckingham Palace...!!!!
...and relax.
I'll be sad to see David leave the part to which he has brought so much energy and passion, but he clearly feels it can't go on forever. Better to take the decision yourself that have it forced upon you, so I guess the time is right. I hope the River Song story-thread will be adequately addressed in the time that's left for Doctor 10 - and that Doctor 11 will prove himself worthy of the mantle he'll inherit.
The casting choices have so far been spot on for "New Who", so let's not screw it up now.
Elsewhat... Anyone aware that there's been an anthrax scare at a drum-maker's workshop down South? Thought not...
