Back To Normal...

Development News... ...and TDD-511 "The Endless Dance... III" is already progressing beyond the half-chapter I already had on file. I have a rough outline for MoN-109 "A Darkening Storm" as well.
In The News... "One World, One Dream" (or something like that) is the slogan for the Beijing Olympics. Right now, it seems that "Sorry" is the front-runner for the London Olympics in 2012 - the organisers seem to be desperate to play the whole thing down, saying that Beijing will be the last Games of its type, with a fancy ceremony and all. Or so they hope...
Oh, wasn't that just the perfect thing to say at this exact moment? We've had the most successful Games in a century, perhaps EVER, and we're going to carry on treating the next Olympics like we're embarrassed we won the right to host them? Hell, even I'm more enthusiastic about 2012 than I've ever been following our team's performances, but those in power don't seem to want us to get too excited. Oh no, we don't "do optimism" here, do we?
And... I would make some rant-esque comments about a certain "celebrity" and her "cancer scare", but cancer has affected my family, like just about every other family in the country. That makes this media darling's antics even more disgusting - and to be coldly honest, this sounds more and more like the sickest publicity stunt ever. What next? She comes out of hospital, "cured", with a new diet plan to sell to the "celebrizombies" - (c) Me, 2008 - and ANOTHER "boob-job"...?
Okay, I'm done. Don't want to sour my mood.
