Mid-August 'Hawk Report!

In Today's Episode... Does Darkhawk have an entirely unexpected ally in her crusade against Over/Strike? "Knight To King - Checkmate" edges closer to its conclusion, and the universe will never be the same again...

Development News... I may have just missed my self-imposed deadline (midnight) for completing MoN-108 "...Jacks And Queens", but the final chapter did morph into a chapter and an epilogue. However, the story is now done, bar any posting day fine-tuning - and that means that Season 1 is "in the can".

Next on the agenda is a major assault on the finale of Season 5 of The Darkhawk Diaries, with just two stories to go. I'm not sure there'll be the same top-notch development work for these as there has been for MoN-108, as my situation will shift back to normal tomorrow, but I'll certainly do my best, and look back on the last four days with some satisfaction.

Elsewhat... Not long 'til Hellboy II - The Golden Army. Not entirely decided about going to see it on opening night, but now that Potter 6 has been postponed, the latest outing for "Big Red" may just represent the end of the summer blockbuster season. Pity the summer itself wasn't as enjoyable...
