Pushing Daisies might not be the most enthralling thing around - hey, it's a fun idea, but I don't see it having "any legs", so to speak - but given the amount of pre-air publicity it's received, you'd think it'd get a decent "crack of the whip".

However, the network showing the series in the UK is dropping Episode 2, because showing all 9 episodes will interfere with...

...some piece-of-shit soccer tournament. Oh, bow down and praise The Great God Football, be-all and end-all of the life of every man, woman and girl in the country...

...I don't frigging think.

Oh, and England aren't even in this competition, or so I think I heard. Why waste everyone's time showing it, then?

Development News... Progress on MoN-107 "A Darkening Tide" is a bit like a frog with a wooden leg - one moment, leaps and bounds, the next hobbling along. BUT the story is nearing completion, albeit by way of something "big budget"...

However... Dammit - trust me to come across some "viral" support material for Marvel's forthcoming Secret Invasion. A girl is posting a video blog at MySpace... but all is not as sweet and everyday as it appears...

It's a bloody pain in the ass, however. OKAY, I KNOW that broadband is pretty much assumed to be default for every internet user these days, and I'm prepared to wait for the damn videos to load, BUT when you try to watch them, it's almost a 50-50 crap-shoot as to whether it'll play, or just go through the whole "buffering" thing all over again. I've managed to watch 8 of the 18 videos, and it's going to take quite a while to work through the rest, at this rate. I may need a late night to get to the end of the story, if my patience holds out.
