The first weekend of the year was a real damp squib, 'cause of the lack of heating. Tomorrow, the start of weekend number 2, I get up early to lord it over some panicking students. You'd think that'd be fun - hey, at least I get paid for it, and I'll be coming home to a house with heat and hot water.
Evening's highlight... Repeat of a live show by Bill Bailey - I particularly appreciate the line "there's more evil in the charts than an Al-Queda suggestion box". I learned that to my eternal sorrow last year...
Project update... The next Darkhawk story is coming together at a satisfactory rate. This story is digressing from the "season arc" as planned, bringing forward an event planned for the next episode, but that's the way it has to go if any progress is going to be made.
Coming this week... New Primeval and CSI New York (Saturday), continuing CSI Tuesday, new Torchwood Wednesday... Now that's more like it.
