In Today's Episode... It's Mane-of-Night to the rescue as the Huntress receives her first real test. Will both be up to the challenge...?

In Development... "Huntress Rising" continues, and there's even some ground broken on TDD-504. "HR" is seriously needing completion to keep "the flow" on course - let's see how close we can get to that by the weekend...

In The News... So, the individual "responsible" for the outrage leading to "The Jane Longhurst Law" (remember that?) has been found guilty - again - of the same crime. Guess it's only a matter of time before the BDSM community, and anyone assumed to be part of that community 'cause they like to "dress up" is "found guilty" too.

To quote The BBC:-

"This re-conviction should signal the end of Graham Coutt's mission to escape justice and also put an end to the misery and distress he has continued to heap upon Jane's family and loved ones."

...except for the misery and distress Mrs Longhurst is putting herself through just to get some more revenge, which is honestly pretty pathetic - and somewhat hilarious, because if ALL representations of torture, simulated or otherwise, are illegal, then so is the effigy of a man being tortured to death in every Christian church in the country.

Didn't think of that - didya? And don't think you'll get away with it, either...

And finally... Catherine Tate, co-star in in 2006 Doctor Who Christmas special, is now lined up to be the main companion in the fourth season, starting Spring 2008. The fan reaction does not appear good - can people stand her rather loud character for a whole season?

Me? I'd rather have Martha back for the full season. And the Torchwood episodes, of course.

And FINALLY finally... Happy 4th of July, to anyone to whom it's special.
