On the telly... Not a new idea - people displaced in time - in tonight's Torchwood, but it was quite well handled, and didn't resort to pasting a "monster of the week" onto the end of it. Hey, is Jack a screwed-up guy or what? If The Doctor doesn't "get over Rose" before Jack makes his reappearance in Doctor Who, the moping around from the two of them will suck the universe into a big, angsty black hole. Fricking Goth-emo paradise... ;-)

Also Who-related... the full-scale trailers for the Christmas special are now appearing - and boy have the Beeb got to learn not to spoil the "main event" reveals by showing the main bad guy (girl) before the day. Also, there better not be another giant spaceship hovering over Cardiff London next year...

And Finally... Got paid for November's Uni work AT LAST. Were they trying to not pay up before Christmas...?
