Stem cell research needs to be done. The sooner we explore it properly, the sooner we can refine our research, and take the "murdered babies" out of the equation. Sounds callous? Just think how many babies are killed because of their mother's addictions - booze, fags, drugs - and ask yourselves, oh religious right, just what in hell you're doing about that?
Also... The go-ahead has been given in the UK for full-face transplants. All the research indicates that no, you won't suddenly walk into someone who looks exactly like your deceased relative. Face Off was a movie, based on seriously dodgy pseudo-science, and John Travolta doesn't have the same facial bone structure as Nicholas Cage. Plain and simple, folks.
And Finally... What would people rather have Madonna do? Spend thousands of dollars helping that boy from Malawi, or snort, inject or slip her feet into thousands of dollars of the self-indulgent stuff of materialistic America?
