Unlocking The "Lockdown" - continued

Saturday (and Sunday) come and go, and that's one more chapter "in the can". As this chapter isn't due to "air" for a couple of weeks, there's not a lot I can say, apart from "there's only one full chapter, and an epilogue, to go", and...

"BB and SiL's Big Project" means that tomorrow won't be as free for more story development as I'd like, but I'll see what I can do. I really want to get this story completed, and get going on what comes next...

...of course, I do now have the means to continue development whilst on the move. Oh, and play Dungeon Master.

...And The Recovering Begins NOW

In Today's Episode: Are Mane-of-Night and her companions in over their heads? One of the group has very strong opinions on the matter, that much is certain. All this and more in the latest chapter of The Darkhawk Diaries.

In Today's Top Story... I never want to see another carpet again. Last week, I ripped them out. Today, we had to cut the damn things up into manageable chunks for the council waste disposal people - awww, the poor wee lambs. If they refuse to uplift any of that because it's too heavy, the carpet pieces must be wet, or the council staff must be the weediest manual labourers in existence.

I shall (not) shed a tear for them as I commence my recovery from the aforementioned ordeal, which I anticipate will take up most of this week. I suspect tomorrow won't be the best day to relax, either, as my services will most likely be required next door to the "building site" (great-aunt needs furniture temporarily moved out to allow rewiring) - and then The Fucking System are sure to raise their ugly heads again before long...

Somehow, I doubt I'll stay awake long enough to see all of the Monday Night New Orleans-Atlanta game, but I at least want to see the start, when the Saints go marching back into the Louisiana Superdome (oh please...).

A Technical Update...

Following on from this missive of frustration last week, I have now determined that my ISP is treated by "SpamCop" sites as a hotbed of spamming, and therefore a whole heap of other customers are equally email-impaired.

Guess I can cross one name off my broadband investigation list. Must try out my back-up ISP, and see what happens with my web-mail woes.
