Yes! - "A Haven In The Storm" is provisionally "in the can" (pending a possible final sequence retooling/upgrade), and "Affirmative Action" is now in progress, with the opening chapter of that bridging story also completed.
Meanwhile... I'm a dedicated Ultima Online player, but from time to time, I feel inclined to investigate other online games, such as Guild Wars. One game that has intrigued me is City Of Heroes, and its villain-oriented sister game, City Of Villains. A recent PC games magazine had a 14-day CoV trial on the cover DVD, but when you look at the requirements, it becomes clear that a computer upgrade is going to be needed. I'd been planning on a CPU/motherboard upgrade for a while now, and now that's looking essential rather than optional.
Of course, all this depends on the presence in my life of a laptop as a back-up PC, and I haven't had much time to study my options. Whatever doesn't go on the laptop will be diverted to the upgrade fund - or at least that's the plan.
Birthday soon (eight days away) - so maybe some funds will be forthcoming...
