In Our Headline Story... Mum's procedure was over and done before lunch, so that wasn't anything like the "stress-out" it threatened to be. There's still the necessary after-care to attend to, but that won't be too much of a hassle, by the sound of it.
Cue sarcasm... Awww, what a shame - the "God-Squad" aren't going to be allowed to continue hating gays as a "matter of conscience" after all. Disappointed that the public are no longer afraid of them, 'cause no-one believes the fairy-tales any more, they're now crying "Catholic-bashing" to try and get some sympathy.
Oh yeah, we're supposed to feel sorry for you now, after centuries of prejudice and genocide on your part? Conscience? Since when did your organisation ever show any evidence of such a facet of its being in the past?
And finally... X-ray cameras in lampposts to watch out for weapons? What if someone hits one of these x-ray-equipped street-lights with their car, and releases the radioactive material required to make an x-ray camera work? Imagine the damage that would do - probably worse than a terrorist, or chav with a knife.
Fuck right off, Tony. What is he trying to do? Set the self-destruct before he abandons ship? This once-great country can't get rid of this asshole quick enough.
