patentdragonThat's it. I am not leaving this house again until its time to go back to work. A piece of office furniture expected next week arrived at the shop yesterday, and an excursion to pick it up became a "can you get -insert grocery item- while you're out" trip - and bang goes another afternoon, buggering up the momentum I had built up this morning. I would so like to leave out the "type-up" stage of things, but I write when I can, in whatever format is most readily available...
However, I may just be able to declare a disputed Mission Task completed:

Good progress has been made, and the whole thing could be done by bedtime, but I do have until 23:59:59 on January 1st to post the final part, and still make good on my posting schedule, to the word if perhaps not to the spirit.
Here's a promise: Chapter 3 posts at 00:01 on January 1st, one minute into the New Year.
If certain individuals will bloody well let me keep a damn promise...
Okay, I am officially sick of being irritated. I shall do my very best to avoid any further irritations for the rest of MY HOLIDAYS. Guess I'll be having several obscene lie-ins, then.
