Move Paralysis

Buggered if I know what's going on with my desktop PC and LiveJournal. Logging on and posting seems fine right now on the netbook - which has twice the RAM...

The Move... Getting motivated to sort and prepare stuff for moving is really hard. There - I've said it. I find myself thinking of that oblong knot I was trying to tie last night; I'd start, trying to follow a labyrinthine diagram, only to throw the damn thing down in disgust as you utterly fail to follow the plan by just ONE "over" or "under"...

Okay, piss-poor comparison. As far as getting stuff ready is concerned, I'm basically looking at the diagram - substitute "minefield of displaced boxes" for "diagram" - then affecting a hasty retreat and hiding under the duvet. I haven't even touched my cupboards yet, and the "stuff decompression" has me seriously wondering where it's all going to go.

I'll try and clear some floor space tonight. I really have to get some of this done...
