I'm trying to avoid the (quite literally) last-minute postings this time - and I find myself stuck for anything to write...
Let's see...
In Ultima Online... Last night's tavern stint in Ultima Online saw a grand total of zero customers - that's to be expected, I guess, given the lack of publicity, but things might be different next week, and I'd quite like to have a Grand Re-Opening with a proper sense of occasion. Should be able to manage that.
...Writing... No "writing hour" yesterday, because of the preparations needed for the tavern shift. I'll try and get at least one such hour in a week, and more writing at weekends - if I don't fall asleep at the keyboard all the time.
At work, things are different. I usually get at least something done writing-wise, thanks to my trusty netbook. Eating my lunch-time fruit can be a problem - so many keys, but only one hand (stop sniggering at the back!) - and there are a few muffin-crumbs under the very keys I'm using right now, but writing is achieved, edging things further and further along. Could still do with a few really intensive sessions, though - pity there's a couple of busy Move-related Saturdays just round the corner...
The "Development News" portion goes something like this: Work on TDD-607 The Pandemonicum Symphony - First Movement progresses into Chapter 5, slowed up slightly by a rather elastic lead-in section. I'm bringing in long-standing characters who've only been on the edges of events up until now, and so things have "stretched to fit", about which you really can't do a whole lot. Writing is an organic process, and sometimes your current piece of writing takes on a life all its own.
...Work... I am now working on expanding the database! Initial investigations look promising - I may just have a solid handle on this.
...In Closing... Uh, I guess that's all for now. I might try some more UO Mining, and maybe a treasure map or two, followed by some i-Player-related catch-up. Wish me luck, I'm going in..
