Obama says "yes" to stem-cell research, overturning the fundamentalist claptrap of his predecessor, and now he has evidence to back up his case, even if it's "only" the replacement of part of a woman's trachea. I'm happy for her, happy for the researchers, and happy for all those people who may just have their lives transformed...

...and yes, this was the reason for the infamous "mouse with the ear on its back", not mad scientists having a laugh. Bet the outraged minority don't feel so smug now.

Development news... Aaaah, now we're cooking. MoN-109 "Mane-of-Night and The Darkening Storm" is moving forward in pleasing fashion, now that Chapter 4 of this season finale is completed.

Progress on MoN-109 "Mane-of-Night and The Darkening Storm" continues, moving from the "words" phase into the "action" phase - and I have been reminded of something... an earlier story thread that, quite by chance, ties right into the story in development! Also, a recent and necessary "tweak" that's been written into MoN-109 may just pull the whole end-game into shape - a revelation will lead to a definite change of outlook for someone...

Yes, this bout of story-crafting isn't quite as emphatic as "The Big Push", but boy is it working! In the last couple of months, I think I may just have made up for last autumn's "creativity log-jam". Yay!
