More Than Just "Simmering"

In Today's Episode... Mane-of-Night faces the "Son of Helfyre" for the first time, and Myr'aa learns that appearances can be deceptive as one of her companions makes several startling revelations...

Release Notes... I was doing some chapter corrections, and I just happened to have the next chapter ready, so here it is! The sections of coloured text for S'Dhar have integrated properly, for which I am duly grateful, and for the moment, writing seems to be back in fashion with this particular brain.

Creator's Commentary... "The 'revelations' at the end of this chapter came into being whilst I was planning a scene for later, and they sow a few seeds for things yet to come. I hadn't planned to explain Emergency Intervention and their involvement in "Lockdown" any time soon, but the opportunity to do so in an interesting manner presented itself, and I grabbed it."

Meanwhile-ish... Heroes simply will not stop being awesome. Just when you think you've got a handle on it, along comes another "hey, hold on...!" moment that spawns a whole new line of thought...

And finally... Crap. Tomorrow looks like being cold and sucky - and I have to be out in it, too.

And then...

...and then I woke up at Stupid O'Clock, and the day kinda went downhill from there. The day's almost done, but I don't think I'm finished with "downhill" quite yet. Been trying to write, but I can't focus - and that's not because the central heating is on. The desire is there, especially after the way the last few days have been going, but the "creativity / screen" interface is faulty.

I'd explore my broadband options, but I have even less enthusiasm for that. TV I can watch, but PC screens? It just isn't working...
